Product Instruction

◆ Scutellaria baicalensis extract is widely used as a dietary ingredient and traditional herbal medicine owing to its anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties, more extensively in Asia than in the America and Europe.

◆ Scullcap contains active flavonoids, chemicals that have various effects in the body. Three of its flavonoids, baicalin and wogonin are known for its anti-inflammatory. Inflammation is a body response to irritation, injury, or infection. It usually includes pain, redness, and swelling in the area of the damaged and it can occur within body tissues as well as on the surface of skin. Both oral and topical forms of scullcap are being tested to treat inflammatory conditions that range from dermatitis to inflammatory bowel disease.

Product benefits

Preliminary studies have shown that Scutellaria baicalensis extract can be used for the treatment and health care of the following health problems:

◆ Memory disorders: Scientists have found that oroxylin A may help prevent memory disorders caused by amyloid beta, a brain spot associated with Alzheimer's disease.

◆ Prostate cancer: A study in mice in 2005 showed that compounds found in the skull may help slow the growth of prostate cancer tumors. Skullcap is a component of the herbal formula PC-SPES, a dietary supplement that is removed from the market because some batches contain prescription drugs.

◆ Benign prostatic hyperplasia: A study of rats in 2019 found that Scutellaria baicalensis extract can inhibit the development of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) by inhibiting abnormal androgen and relieving inflammation. More research is needed before recommending jaundice to humans.

◆ Parkinson's disease: published in 2008, a study of mice found that baicalein (another antioxidant derived from the skull) may help protect nerve cells from Parkinson's disease (a cause of tremor Damage to limbs and trunk stiffness, impaired chronic disease). Balance and coordinate, and slow down).

Product application

◆ Chinese skullcap extract baicalin is a kind of flavonoid extracted from the root of Scutellaria baicalensis. It has remarkable biological activity, has antibacterial, diuretic, anti-inflammatory, anti-metamorphic and antispasmodic effects, and has strong resistance. Physiological efficacy such as cancer response.

◆ Baicalin can also absorb ultraviolet rays, scavenge oxygen free radicals, and inhibit the formation of melanin. Therefore, it can be used in medicine or cosmetics. It is a good functional cosmetic raw material.

Recommended dosage

◆ Although there is a lack of human evidence supporting the optimal dose of jaundice for supplemental purposes, it appears in the rat and mouse models that the optimal dose of Scutellariae Radix extract is about 500 mg orally.
